मुस्कानों की लुका छिपी

घड़ी के काँटों से तेज़
ये मधलूम ज़िन्दगी
कहीं दूर भाग रही थी
बहुत ढूँढा, बहुत टटोला
अनायास ही एहसास हुआ
वो तो इस उजली हंसी के पीछे से
मासूम सी झाँक रही थी ....

 The photo is taken from "Shiksha Ki Ore" project of Nirmaan Pilani. This project helps school dropouts get re-admitted to the school by providing them necessary conditioning and support. Monica-Eldest & Brightest in our school, this year had stopped going to school because it happened with her twice that the school she went was shut down. This not only discouraged her, but even her parents. But 6 months with us, she's now totally enthusiastic to join a new school. Her tomboy attitude made her the junior head of family. She can not only write her own name, but even her family & friends. She is now good at additions, subtractions, and tables till 6, and can read simple sentences. Today, she, along with 16 of her friends attends her school regularly.
